Welcome to Tappy. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using Tappy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Tappy, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use our service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Tappy is an interest and intent analytics platform designed for WhatsApp-first businesses. Our service includes:

  • Post creation with AI-powered content assistance
  • Trackable link generation for WhatsApp, Instagram, and other platforms
  • Analytics dashboard showing click performance and customer interest
  • AI-generated insights to help you understand what works
  • Device and platform segmentation analytics
  • Follow-up reminders and posting suggestions

Tappy does not provide WhatsApp automation, chatbots, CRM functionality, or access to your WhatsApp messages or contacts.

3. Account Registration

To use Tappy, you must:

  • Provide a valid mobile phone number for authentication
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Be authorized to use the service for your business purposes

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

When using Tappy, you agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful business purposes
  • Not use the service to distribute spam, illegal content, or harmful material
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including consumer protection and privacy laws
  • Respect the terms of service of platforms where you share your tracked links
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise our service
  • Not create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limitations
  • Not resell or redistribute our service without permission

5. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create using Tappy, including posts, images, and text. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process and display your content as necessary to provide the service. AI-generated suggestions are provided as assistance only - you are responsible for the final content you publish.

6. Subscription Plans and Payments

Tappy offers both free and paid subscription plans:

  • Free Plan: Includes unlimited links, unlimited hosted pages, and 30 days of analytics history
  • Pro Plan: Includes all free features plus unlimited analytics history, QR codes, advanced redirects, branded URLs, and more
  • Enterprise: Custom solutions with API access, feedback tracking, and full automation

Pro subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months, except where required by law.

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

We want you to be satisfied with Tappy. Our refund and cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the Subscription section in the app. Your access to Pro features will continue until the end of your current billing period.
  • No Partial Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused portions of your subscription period, except where required by applicable law.
  • Refund Eligibility: Refund requests may be considered in the following cases: (a) duplicate charges due to technical errors, (b) charges made after cancellation was requested, or (c) if the service was completely unavailable for an extended period.
  • Refund Process: To request a refund, please contact us at contact@tappy.so with your registered phone number and reason for the refund. We will review your request and respond within 5-7 business days.
  • Refund Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days and credited to the original payment method used during the purchase.
  • Free Trial: If you cancel during a free trial period, you will not be charged.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.

9. Limitation of Liability

Tappy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tappy, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the service in ways that could harm other users or our platform. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

12. Modifications to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email. Your continued use of Tappy after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Tappy shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
